The IMPACT Project is focused on advancing knowledge of prognosis, trial-design and treatment in TBI.

• International collaborative project funded by NIH-NINDS
• Has access to individual patient data from observational series and trials
• Creating the IMPACT database as
  • foundation for developing novel methodology aiming to
  • maximize the chance of demonstrating benefit of effective new therapies

IMPACT will

• develop and validate prognostic models for classification and characterization of TBI series
• provide evidence based recommendations for improving sensitivity and efficiency of trials in TBI
• potentially assist in the development of new treatments for TBI which could lead to better patient outcomes
